Liz Tabish and Giselle Marie Muñoz join us from Austin Arthouse Film Festival to tell us how to participate in their 48 hour Arthouse Film Challenge this weekend!   Celebrate the avant-garde at AFS Cinema  What is an arthouse film? According to Austin Arthouse Film Festival co-founder Giselle Marie Muñoz, you know it when you see it. "It's something we haven't seen before, something that we haven't seen on the big screen before."
 The second annual Austin Arthouse Film Festival will be held Oct. 21 at the AFS Cinema. The festival will feature three blocks devoted to short films made locally and nationally, with the family friendly PG block beginning at 5:30 p.m., the PG-13 block beginning at 7 p.m., and the adult-themed R block beginning at 8:30 p.m. There will be filmmaker Q&As after each block. The feature will close with an awards ceremony beginning at 11 p.m.
